Procedure documentationPreparing a DIMONA Declaration

Prerequisites

The preparation of data is triggered by the relevant actions and relevant organizational assignments:

  • You have made the Customizing settings described in Customizing for Payroll: Belgium, under Start of the navigation path Social Insurance Next navigation step Dimona Declaration (valid 2010) Next navigation step Main Settings End of the navigation path:

    • Determine Joint Commission

    • Check Dimona Relevance

    • Change Logic Used for Preparation

  • You have checks in place to prevent duplicate and overlapping DIMONA records. You have either implemented company-specific checks, or activated duplicate prevention in Customizing for Payroll: Belgium, under Start of the navigation path Social Insurance Next navigation step Dimona Declaration (valid 2010) Next navigation step Duplicate Prevention End of the navigation path.

  • You have maintained the Contract Elements (0016) and the Social Insurance Belgium (0100) infotypes.

Procedure

DIMONA declarations are prepared using the Dimona Declaration: Preparation (RPCDIPB0) report. It is not mandatory to run this report if you are going to process the DIMONA declaration manually; however, it is recommended.

When this report is run, the system prepares the data as follows:

  1. The report is used to select the occupation periods that are relevant for DIMONA declaration reporting purposes. DIMONA declarations are assigned a declaration type (in, out, update, cancel). The report creates infotype records (by occupation period) in the Dimona Declaration (0735) infotype.

  2. The report checks the infotype records for duplicate and overlapping data (only relevant if duplicate prevention is activated). The report compares the Actions (0000) and Organizational Assignment (0001) infotype records with the Dimona Declaration (0735) infotype records that have been sent to the National Office for Social Security. If duplicate prevention is activated, the records are compared with the reference HR-BE: Dimona Central Table (T5BDI0).

  3. The report updates the Dimona Declaration (0735) infotype records with a processing status prepared (P).

Note Note

If you create the declaration manually, you have to update the Dimona Declaration (0735) infotype manually.

End of the note.

Result

The master data is stored in the Dimona Declaration (0735) infotype and the declaration status is set to prepared for the corresponding records. Only infotype records with a prepared status are selected for inclusion in DIMONA declarations. In addition, an application log is generated containing the DIMONA declarations to be saved with a list of possible errors.
